  1. BUSINESS OPERATIONS SUMMER PLACEMENTS

EXPLORE OUR BUSINESS. EXPLORE YOUR POTENTIAL.

Spend between eight and 14 weeks immersing yourself in one of the diverse operational functions that underpin our business. Gain real-world experience, work on live projects and boost your future prospects.
  2. THE OPPORTUNITY
    In-depth experience

Our Business Operations teams are often described as the ‘oil in the machine’, not seen on the outside but keeping everything within the firm running smoothly. Made up of over a dozen interconnected functions that are critical to the success of our business, their responsibilities include liaising with clients directly on accounting and administration matters, and reconciling trades with custodian banks or analysing operational risk.

This is your chance to gain in-depth experience in a specific business area as you learn more about the investment management industry. We’ve a range of opportunities in seven different functions, all offering tailored training and support including a full week’s induction and a learning and development plan. You’ll also benefit from your own learning journal so you can record your achievements and the skills you’ve gained.

There are several departments to choose from, so you can select the opportunity that best matches your skills and aspirations. Whichever area you choose, you’ll be seen as a real member of the team, contributing to live projects and exploring how the business works.

We want you to take ownership of your time with us, so we’re looking for bags of initiative and a real enthusiasm to get the most out of your placement and learn more about the business. This is an opportunity to show us what you can do.
